Why "Spattered Canvas"?
Like a broad canvas speckled by an bargain-bin Neiman, this site will have splashes of color and insight, but will more often lack focus or clarity of vision.
The great explorer Sir Richard Francis Burton called himself "...a blaze of light, without a focus". Like Burton, I am a light without focus — albeit a candle and not a blaze. Some of that light will illuminate the spatters of colors and patterns displayed on this site.
